Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan Overview

{Leslie}
Hi everyone, thanks for joining to learn more about Aetna Medicare Advantage. My name is Leslie Priest. I’m a relationship manager with the Aetna Federal Team. In 2020, Aetna began offering a nationwide plan designed for retired federal employees. It’s called the Aetna Advantage plan offered through the Federal Employees Health Benefits, FEHB, Program. Once enrolled, you can opt-in to our Aetna MedicareSM Plan (PPO) with an extended service area.

Currently, over 1 million federal retirees are enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B, also known as Original Medicare.

The Aetna Medicare Advantage plan, offered through FEHB, was designed with a lower premium to help with the shared cost federal retirees pay for FEHB coverage, plus what they pay for Original Medicare.

And from our most recent Aetna Medicare Group Member Satisfaction Survey, we proudly have a 96 percent member satisfaction rate.

Now let's take a closer look at some of the benefits for this plan. There is zero cost for most medical care and low prescription copays. Also, members will receive a credit toward their Medicare Part B premiums. This plan allows you to see any doctor, in or out of network, with no cost share as long as the provider accepts Medicare payment and the Aetna plan.

In addition to the benefits I described, the plan also offers personalized programs when you need them most. These programs include SilverSneakers® fitness benefit, home-delivered meals after discharge from a hospital or skilled nursing stay. As well as non-emergency medical transportation to help get you to and from health care appointments.

To learn more about the Aetna® Medicare Advantage plan, schedule an appointment with us. At AetnaFedsLive.com you can schedule a convenient one-on-one appointment with a licensed professional, and we’ll give you a call. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
